Fond regards to all of you guys whose personal life-histories overlap so much of mine—from Bay Shore to St. Louis. Sorry to have had to miss it. Barring the unexpected I’ll meet you all at the Rainbow Bridge.
I’ve sent this mug shot (attached) to Brian but but am sending it again ad cautelam; (that may not be good Latin but it has been 50 or so years since we wrestled with HervĂ© and Noldin). This photo is already 10 years old. I’m at my stripped down office at McGill on the day of my retirement, August 31, 2006.
